| "Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It is already tomorrow in Australia." - Charles M. Schulz ![]() It is hard to believe that for someone who could pen such a positive sentence, and who conjures snoopy comic strips for a living, Mr. Schulz battled with depression and anxiety all his life. Actually it is not that hard to believe. Everybody has got some issues to deal with everyday. Unless you are a bimbo, or mentally challenged, there is no way to escape those dark thoughts from invading your mind. Two months. Completely unprecedented, and already broke records on all count. But nevertheless, this useless piece of fact doesn't make anything any better. In such a serious situation, i managed to find something rather funny to amuse myself with: if i dial 9 on the cordless house phone, there will be no sound. Because when one is trying to hide from murderers and robbers and you need to call the police, the super loyal and trustworthy phone cannot give you away. Good idea. Well done. So all along, i have been foolishly thinking there was something wrong with my number nine, and everytime i need a nine, i will dial on the normal phone. Snap. A lesson learnt, i guess. No one will be foolish forever, the truth prevails always. To prevent any unwanted comment-hugs that could potentially reflect badly on me, all of your kind words have been disallowed. Thanks, but don't worry. If its really really serious would i still be writing about it, and exercising my humour at the same instant? | |||||||||
